IIDA is proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards. These awards recognize and honor the highest level of design excellence in interior design/interior architecture projects throughout the Asia Pacific region.

“The variety demonstrated by this year’s submissions is a true testament to the broad range of talent and ingenuity in this region,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “The winning projects underscore the impact that can be made when cultural influence meets innovation.”

Projects were reviewed by a panel of design professionals, including Michael Byun, IIDA, ASID, associate director, interior design leader, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP; Angie Lee, IIDA, AIA, principal, design director – interiors, FXCollaborative; and Billy Quimby, principal, BAMO.

“The caliber of each entry made for an incredibly competitive review process,” Byun said on behalf of the jury. “This year’s winners presented a fusion of sophisticated design and next-generation functionality, illustrating an approach that has given the Asia Pacific region its most notable structures and spaces over the years.”
