IIDA Announces Winners of 16th Annual Global Excellence Awards

IIDA is honored to announce the winners of the 2025 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honor innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 15 categories.

“We are honored to celebrate these winners for their visionary work, these projects will resonate across the global design community for years to come,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “These projects are united by a shared commitment to intentional detail, creating immersive and inviting spaces that elevate the human experience.”

Entries were reviewed by a jury of design professionals, including, Corgan Principal and Studio Leader – Workplace, Joyce Fownes, IIDA; Vocon Senior Associate and Design Director, Ann Marie Krol, IIDA; and Savannah College of Art and Design Chair of Interior Design and Preservation Design, Christine Van Duyn.

“The winning projects are beautifully designed with thoughtful attention to detail, making sophistication and simplicity work in harmony,” said Fownes on behalf of the jury. “Each project reflects a clear respect for the client, the space, and the people who use it setting a strong standard for the future of interiors.”

The Best of Competition winners for both competitions will also be revealed during the celebration.
