IIDA Announces Winners of 14th Annual Student Design Competition

IIDA is proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Student Design Competition, sponsored by OFS and Carolina. This year’s competition focused on the healthcare sector and challenged participants to design critical aspects of an ambulatory surgery center.

“Today’s design students are tasked with shaping the built environment of tomorrow. It is important to recognize fresh and forward-thinking approaches to the ways in which design can positively impact people, particularly in healthcare spaces where care and connectivity are critical” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “This year’s submissions showcased a sensitivity, creativity, and true understanding of the purposeful implementation of design into a healthcare environment.”
