The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in collaboration with EDmarket, proudly announces the winners of the 2016 EDspaces Innovation Awards. The competition recognizes manufacturers and designers for excellence in product design for the learning environment. Awards were announced today at the EDspaces tradeshow and conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, with this year’s Best of Competition honors awarded to KI for Ruckus™ Collection.

“The winners of this year’s EDspaces Innovation Awards exemplify cutting-edge innovation and purposeful design,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “The functionality and aesthetics of these products are elevating the quality of the learning environment and represent what is next for students everywhere.”

The judging panel this year included: Christina Gonano, IIDA, RID (The Savannah College of Art and Design); Amanda Hunsucker, IIDA, KYCID, NCIDQ (Kovert Hawkins Architects); and Carrie Malatesta, IIDA, LEED AP (SHP Leading Design).
