IIDA Announces Finalists of 14th Annual Global Excellence Awards

IIDA is honored to announce the finalists of the 2023 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honor innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 15 categories.

“The collection of this year’s finalists created an exquisite palette of spaces that exude awe,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “Just seeing this group of imaginative and capable projects excites the industry for who will be advanced to the winner’s round.”

The finalists were selected by a jury of design experts, including ALA Founder and Principal, Alda Ly; Studio BV Founder and CEO, Betsy Vohs, Associate AIA; and Flad Architects Interior Designer, Sara Wolf, IIDA.

“It is an honor to review and highlight these talented design teams and their immersive visions,” said Vohs on the behalf of the jury. “The finalists are redefining expectations and demonstrating how design continues to adapt and evolve across the globe.”

The IIDA Global Excellence Awards winners will be announced December 11. All of the finalists’ projects can be viewed on IIDA.org and will be honored at a special celebration on February 17, 2024, in Paris alongside the Global Excellence Awards winners and 2023 IIDA Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards winners. The Best of Competition winners for both competitions will also be revealed during the celebration.
