IIDA Announces Best of GlobalShop Product Design Competition
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is proud to announce the opening of the annual GlobalShop Product Design Competition. The competition honors manufacturers and designers for product design advancements in innovation, function, and aesthetics for the retail industry and is open to exhibitors at GlobalShop 2016.Â
“The retail industry engages millions of consumers and employees every single day, making product design a vital part of the retail experience,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “Our partnership with Emerald Expositions and this year’s competition allow IIDA to further recognize the impact of cutting-edge products at GlobalShop as well as support and encourage innovation in this industry.”
The GlobalShop Product Design Competition is now open to GlobalShop 2016 exhibitors in the following categories:
- Fixtures
- Flooring
- Lighting
- Materials, Surfacing, and Wallcoverings
- Retail Technology Solutions
- In-store Marketing / POP
- Signage Graphic
- Mannequins/Forms
The deadline to enter the competition is March 4, 2016. A panel of distinguished judges will award the winners during GlobalShop 2016, March 23-25, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Visit the competition page for complete details about the GlobalShop Product Design Competition.
