IIDA Announces Best of GlobalShop Product Design Competition

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is proud to announce the opening of the annual GlobalShop Product Design Competition. The competition honors manufacturers and designers for product design advancements in innovation, function, and aesthetics for the retail industry and is open to exhibitors at GlobalShop 2017.

“With over 10,000 industry professionals who attend GlobalShop each year, the product design competition allows us to key in to the forward-thinking ways in which designers are engaging consumers in the retail space,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “We look forward to seeing the expertly-crafted designs—everything from flooring to fixtures—that influence the retail experience.”

The GlobalShop Product Design Competition is now open to GlobalShop 2017 exhibitors in the following categories:

  • Fixtures
  • Flooring
  • Lighting
  • Materials, surfacing, and wallcoverings
  • Retail technology solutions
  • In-store marketing/POP
  • Signage graphic
  • Mannequins/forms

The deadline to enter the competition is March 13, 2017. A panel of distinguished judges will award the winners during GlobalShop 2017, March 28-30, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
