IIDA Announces 2018 GlobalShop Product Design Competition

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is proud to announce the opening of the annual GlobalShop Product Design Competition. The competition honors manufacturers for product design advancements in innovation, function, and aesthetics for the retail industry and is open to exhibitors at GlobalShop 2018.

“Product design has the capacity to enhance or detract from a consumer’s shopping experience, making it a vital part of the retail industry,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. “IIDA looks forward to once again recognizing cutting-edge products at GlobalShop 2018.”

The GlobalShop Product Design Competition is now open to GlobalShop 2018 exhibitors in the following categories:

• Fixtures

• Flooring

• Lighting

• Mannequins/Forms

• Materials, Surfacing, and Wallcoverings

• Retail Technology Solutions

• In-store Marketing/POP

• Signage/Graphics

The deadline to enter the competition is March 9, 2018. A panel of distinguished jurors will award the winners during GlobalShop 2018, March 27-29, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
