Hightower has launched its dedicated portal on Ecomedes, a leading sustainability intelligence platform for the built environment. Available now at hightower.ecomedes.com, the portal gives architects, interior designers, dealers, and project teams instant access to comprehensive sustainability and environmental performance data across the entire Hightower product catalog at no cost.
The Ecomedes partnership represents the next step in Hightowerâs ongoing commitment to building an industry-leading digital toolkit for customers. Following the companyâs integration with Configuraâs Commercial Interiors Library and Aline and Spec platforms last year, in addition to Cyncly’s Worksheet, Ecomedes extends that same customer-first philosophy into the sustainability space, giving project teams a powerful, full-service resource for environmental product data.
Through the Hightower Ecomedes portal, users can search and filter the full Hightower catalog by certification, eco-label, or sustainability framework; evaluate any product or group of products against rating systems including LEED v5, WELL, Living Building Challenge, and the Common Materials Framework (CMF); generate detailed Eco Impact Summaries for entire furniture lines; and export project documentation as shareable PDFs or CSV files, all within seconds.
The launch is particularly timely as the Common Materials Framework gains rapid adoption across the industry. Developed by Mindful Materials and now incorporated into AIA 2030 commitments and major rating systems, including LEED v5, the framework organizes product sustainability across five impact categories: human health, climate health, ecosystem health, circular economy, and social health and equity. Hightower products map across all five categories, with 100% of the portfolio certified Indoor Advantage Gold for human health, a full catalog covered by the companyâs B Corp certification under social health and equity, and standout offerings including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for select products, take-back programs, and recycled-content materials.
âSustainability and impact data is no longer a nice-to-have; itâs a core part of how our customers specify and how projects get built,â said Whitney Joly, Vice President of Marketing and Sales Enablement at Hightower. âWeâve been listening carefully to our customers through focus groups, surveys, and everything in between, and itâs clear they want an easier way to find this information. This is part of our Considered Solutions approach: listening to our customersâ needs.â

Natalie Hartkopf, Hightower Chair/Co-Owner, added, âJoining Ecomedes with our own dedicated portal is exactly that: a simple, powerful resource that puts everything in one place, whether youâre a designer looking for LEED documentation or a rep walking a client through furniture options. This progress reflects who we are as a company, particularly in our commitment to transparency and sharing as much information about our products as possible. It further differentiates us in the A+D world, even as a smaller organization, relatively speaking. Itâs another big step in making sure weâre supporting everyone who works with Hightower products.â
Hightower is among a select group of contract furniture manufacturers to launch a fully dedicated Ecomedes portal providing a branded, curated experience rather than simply appearing within the broader platformâs catalog of over 1.2 million products from 16,000 brands. The portal surfaces Hightowerâs complete product catalog with rich data, including certifications, EPDs, take-back and circularity programs, and detailed credit-level analysis for applicable rating systems.
âWhat Hightower has built on the sustainability side is genuinely breathtakingâthe supply chain story, the certifications, the data depthâand our job is to make all of that as easy to find and use as possible,â said Paul Shahriari, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Ecomedes. âWhat used to take a consultant four to six hours to analyze now takes seconds on the Hightower portal. We built this so that anyone, whether itâs a designer, a dealer, or a project team, can walk in knowing what Hightower products they love and walk out with every piece of sustainability documentation theyâll ever need. Thatâs how you actually make buildings greener.â
The Hightower Ecomedes portal now live. Users can create a free account at hightower.ecomedes.com. Existing Hightower product pages at hightower.design also link directly to the portal, giving customers a seamless path from product browsing to full sustainability documentation.
