Melissa Huff takes on a new role as customer engagement manager; Jess Weber will join as architecture + design manager
Henricksen, a leading full-service contract furniture dealership specializing in the office, healthcare, education, government, senior living, and hospitality spaces, is pleased to announce two role changes in its Chicago office. Melissa Huff has moved into a newly created role as customer engagement manager from her previously held position as architecture + design manager. The company has hired Jess Weber to expertly fill the role of architecture + design manager.
āMelissa and Jess exhibit qualities that reflect Henricksenās core values, including professionalism, resourcefulness, and dedication,ā comments Ryan Esche, principal + vice president at Henricksen. āBoth women are a vital part of the team and will strengthen our position among Chicagoās architecture and design community and our clientele. Their expertise will raise the bar at Henricksen for creating long-term and meaningful relationships among our industry partners and valued customers alike.ā
Over the past 14 months, Melissa Huff has helped the Henricksen team explore new ways of leveraging content throughout the sales cycle and in relationship development. Melissa identified ways to enhance the customer experience, and her passion for creating these solutions led to the foundation of this new role. As the customer engagement manager, Melissa will devise strategies to build positive relationships with customers and influencers while finding new sales leads and opportunities. She will also perform research and analysis to identify client needs and coordinate these insights with the Henricksen team across all regions.
Jess Weber brings a strong personal brand to Henricksen and has a proven history of fostering team collaboration with her dedicated, professional, and authentic nature. Jess not only strengthens Henricksenās identity within the architecture and design community but also opens doors to cultivating and fostering new relationships. The role of architecture + design manager was redefined to align perfectly with Jessās strengths, which will allow her to continue to forge strong relationships in the community working both independently and alongside account executives to develop and enhance the Henricksen brand. Jess will also grow general awareness of the company in the marketplace while supporting and expanding upon new sales opportunities. Jess will serve as a consultative expert, translating the latest planning, design, and product trends into progressive furniture and architectural solutions for clients. Before joining Henricksen, Jess served as a Sales Representative for Andreu World.
Over the past few months, Henricksen acquired Tennessee-based furniture dealer Synergy Business Environments (now Synergy, A Henricksen Company) and most recently, Philadelphia-headquartered COFCO (now COFCO, A Henricksen Company). With these acquisitions, Henricksen has assembled an unparalleled team of industry experts with a broad scope of capabilities and commitment to quality. Melissa and Jess will contribute to strengthening Henricksenās growing team through these transitions, cultivating the company culture, and supporting the brand as Henricksen strives to be the best partner in the commercial furniture industry.
