HBF Updates the Versatile Kinzie Collection with Single-Screen Option

Kinzie Single Screen Offers Increased Flexibility and Customization for the Collaborative Office

HBF is responding to the success of its thoughtfully designed Kinzie Screen with updated privacy solutions suited for any contract environment. The architectural screen, which launched at NeoCon 2018, is now available in a single-screen version – complete with rounded, lightweight feet and four sizing models.

“Following a strong response to Kinzie, we felt the next step was to provide further versatility. Kinzie Single Screen maintains the same crafted design as its predecessor, while optimizing privacy in smaller spaces – or as a sleek addition to a collaborative office,” explains HBF President Dan Chong.

The Kinzie Single Screen balances opacity and transparency, carving out seclusion without being restrictive. The dynamic screens are a welcomed new venture for HBF, as the collection was designed in response to the need for defined, yet mobile elements within the contract sphere. Inspired by the harmony between privacy and interaction, Kinzie’s angled, diamond-shaped slats allow for a subtle amount of light and sound to pass through, while still providing a flexible, minimalistic barrier for the open office.

Built to be a staple in any environment, Kinzie Single Screen features a lightweight design and is easily adjustable and widely functional, with the addition of metal-cased feet for stability and depth. Kinzie’s wooden interior slats come standard in ash (also available in walnut), while its metal casing is available in a variety of powder coated finishes (also available in polished aluminum).

Kinzie Single Screen is offered in four configurations: Tall + Wide (60” x 48”), Tall + Narrow (60” x 34”), Short + Wide (48” x 48”), and Short + Narrow (48” x 34”).
