Haworth Group reported global sales of $2.5 billion USD for 2024, in line with prior year.
“Both commercial and lifestyle sectors performed and showed resilience as Haworth Group focused on execution and delivering great solutions to our customers,” said Franco Bianchi, Haworth Group President and CEO. “This was a solid year for our company as we weathered headwinds from geopolitical uncertainty and foreign currency fluctuation. We are positioned well for future growth.”
During 2024, Haworth Group continued to invest in product introductions like the efficient and sustainable Haworth Breck office chair; Poltrona Frau’s soft, bold and fun Squash Collection designed by Faye Toogood; and Cassina’s iconic Galaxy pendant lamp designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The company received over 30 awards in 2024 for products from Metropolis, Core77, Wallpaper, Best of NeoCon, Architizer A+, Interior Design, Archiproducts and HCD Nightingale, amongst others.
Haworth Group was also recognized by the USA Today Climate Leader List and Newsweek Greenest Companies List. In 2024, the company made progress towards ambitious global sustainable goals. This includes expanding Haworth’s banned substances list, introducing a traceable second life program for the Zody office chair in France, issuing the 19th annual corporate social responsibility report and achieving Ecovadis Gold for the 9th consecutive year. The Haworth Group added KJ Ryan Ltd, an automotive interiors provider based in Coventry, UK. Joining Poltrona Frau with a common passion for quality and craftsmanship, this combination is positioned as a leader for luxury vehicle interiors. The Group also expanded its global real estate: Poltrona Frau opened a flagship showroom in New York City during NYCxDesign and ICFF; Cassina opened a new store in Zhuhai, China; and Haworth broke ground on a second state-of-the-art factory in Chennai, India.
