Gunlocke Expands Sales Presence in the Gulf Coast and South Texas Regions

Based in Houston, new business development manager Ryan Rice to enhance Gunlocke’s support for dealers and A&D professionals in the Southwest

2016.0215.Re-S.Ryan RiceLeading contract furniture manufacturer, The Gunlocke Company, has increased support in the Southwest by adding Ryan Rice as a business development manager to its team in that region. Based in Houston, Rice will provide Gunlocke’s unparalleled service and support to dealer sales representatives and architecture and design professionals in the Gulf Coast and South Texas regions.

Rice brings more than 10 years of sales and new business development experience to his new role.  As business development manager, he will be responsible for developing and strengthening productive business relationships with design professionals and dealers in the Southwest. He also will work to increase awareness of the Gunlocke brand and its broad portfolio of contract furniture solutions. He reports to Mark MacPhee, south central division manager.

Prior to joining Gunlocke, Rice was a sales executive at Pioneer Contract Services, an HNI dealer in Houston – giving him a deep knowledge of the Gunlocke portfolio that will serve him well in his new role. He also held previous positions at Broussard Group, Premier Specialty Brands and BMW/Mini of Austin. Currently, he serves as the Director of Membership for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Houston chapter and also is a member of the IIDA Houston City Center Council. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.
