Arcadia introduces Achellita Kids, a playful extension of the original Achella Modular series designed to bring its signature flexibility to a younger audience. Perfectly scaled and easy to configure, the collection creates welcoming places for reading, relaxing, learning, and everyday moments of curiosity wherever little ones gather.
Designed by Chris Panichella, Achellita Kids evolves the design language of Achella into a compact, inviting form. Armless lounge chairs can be used individually or combined in modular arrangements, with straight, 30-degree inside, and 30-degree outside wedge units that make it simple to create everything from gentle curves to more structured layouts.
A range of connecting tables, including straight, 30-degree and 90-degree options, incorporate convenient surfaces for books, devices, or creative activity. Radiused edges lend a softer look and feel, while material options that include maple veneer, laminate and Corian® allow for a variety of finish combinations, further expanded by an array of metal leg finish choices.
Like its adult counterpart, Achellita is designed with versatility top of mind. Units can be reconfigured as needs change or specified with ganging connectors for more fixed arrangements, while clean-outs between the seat and back support easier upkeep all the day long.
From libraries and learning applications to healthcare environments, community settings, and beyond, Achellita Kids brings the same adaptable spirit of Achella to spaces designed for children, offering a comfortable place to settle in, interact, and let ideas unfold naturally.
