Global Sustainability Advocate to Address NYC Design Community May 12
Sustainability provocateur and cultural protagonist Dr. Leyla Acaroglu will share her insights into advocating positive social and environmental change by design at one of the largest events for New York City’s design community. The International Interior Design Association’s New York Chapter (IIDA NY) proudly presents the Leaders Breakfast, which brings together members of the community in a celebration of design excellence and networking. Dr. Acaroglu, CEO & Founder The UnSchool and Disrupt Design, will be the 2022 keynote speaker.
A mainstage TED speaker, Dr. Acaroglu will discuss connecting systems, sustainability and design as tools for addressing the planet’s biggest challenges. As a designer and sociologist, she was named 2016 United Nations Champion of the Earth for advancing science and innovation for sustainability.
