The latest edition of the Eptura Workplace Index takes a deep dive into the tension between freedom and connection, exploring how to address key employee concerns while driving your business forward.
To supplement our proprietary data, we commissioned independent quantitative research to examine employee motivations and behaviors.
Key findings include:
- 44% of those surveyed would like to work from home just 2-3 days per week.
- Younger generations tend to collaborate more frequently than older generations, but that collaboration is more spontaneous, and rarely planned.
- 39% ranked “greater flexibility with office hours” as a motivator to get them in the office more often.
- Employees ranked “socializing with friends and colleagues” and “collaborating with colleagues” as the biggest benefits to being in the office.
- Only 9% of people have moved outside commuting distance from their company’s office.
