What if a law office felt less like paperwork and more like a place people actually want to be? Garfunkel Wild’s new Long Island office does exactly that. TPG Architecture designed a hospitality-forward space that blends transparency, natural light, and collaborative hubs—making it a law firm that welcomes clients, energizes teams, and earns its commute.
Anchored by a sun-lit atrium, the nearly 42,000-square-foot office introduces visitors to a reception flanked by client-facing conference rooms, a generous lounge, and a café-style coffee bar. The expanded conference footprint signals Garfunkel Wild’s continued commitment to client service, while timeless materials, such as walnut veneer, stone, and the firm’s signature blue, convey both stability and brand identity. A blue-tinted glass feature wall separates the reception from the office interior, creating visual privacy without sacrificing connection to the office’s daily energy.
The design also prioritizes staff collaboration and well-being. Prime locations within the office were reimagined as shared huddle rooms to maximize natural light and informal interaction. Its design further serves Garfunkel Wild’s goal of creating a workspace that motivates its attorneys and staff to come in, feel inspired, and perform their best — an office that “earns” their commute.
Garfunkel Wild’s new Garden City office is a true blend of client-centered service and modern workplace design.
