FXCollaborative, a leading architecture, interior design and planning firm committed to building a better world through equitable and sustainable design, is pleased to announce that Florencia Kratsman, ASID, LEED AP, has joined the firm as the new Director of Interior Architecture. In this new role, Florencia will lead both strategy and design for interior projects, while actively working with architecture and master planning teams to design spaces and experiences from the inside out.

“Chosen for her comprehensive outlook on architecture and eye for integrating interior design across various typologies, FXCollaborative is honored to have Florencia join our team,” said Guy Geier FAIA, FIIDA, LEED AP, Managing Partner at FXCollaborative. “Florencia is poised to bring unique, design innovations to the table and has already started to hit the ground running on a number of projects, giving our clients unmatched developments that will lead by example.”

“Coming out of the pandemic, we’re seeing a real trend of projects that are setting out to address world problems. Throughout our time in isolation, we learned more about our needs, connection to the outside world, and the importance of interior and exterior spaces,” said Florencia Kratsman, ASID, LEED AP. “As FXCollaborative’s new Director of Interior Architecture, I’d like to use this thinking as an opportunity to consciously improve our own surroundings by furthering a holistic design approach centered in human experience to ultimately rethink the way we work and live.”

After 25 years in consulting, design, programming and space planning, Florencia’s work spans corporate, cultural, residential and hospitality, serving clients in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Some of her most notable projects include Google London, 2 World Trade Center, The Spiral, King Street, The James Hotel, Goldman Sachs, MTV and Nokia, among others.

Florencia received a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design and Architecture from Universidad de Puerto Rico and the Pratt Institute, respectively, before receiving her Masters in Science of Architectural Design from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation.
