Future of L.A.: Ideas + Drinks During ULI Convention, Hosted by Carrier Johnson + CULTURE

As part of its new office launch in Los Angeles and on the occasion of the Urban Land Institute’s annual convention, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE will host a cocktail party and brainstorming session on the future of mixed-use development in Los Angeles.

Planned as a fun, interactive session, the event UTOPIA / DYSTOPIA: L.A. NOW! is billed as an “Ideas Mixer for Real Estate Leaders on the Future of Mixed-Use Los Angeles.” Participants will include developers, building owners, architects and branding specialists. Highlights of the event will be published in 2018.

“We’re going to discuss some of the key issues for the success of Los Angeles,” says Kyle Peterson, director – Los Angeles for Carrier Johnson + CULTURE. “Among the most important are city density, the aging resident population, a need for better mixed-use solutions and new approaches such as modular construction, co-living and micro-unit layouts.”

The event will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, October 24th at the firm’s new DTLA offices, 725 S. Figueroa St., Suite 1650. Cocktails are served at 6:00pm, followed by a 40th anniversary champagne toast and open discussion beginning at 6:30. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

To RSVP, respondents can visit this website or the RSVP page.
