Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Co-Presenting Sponsor of 2015 Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards Competition

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) proudly announces Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as co-presenting sponsor of the 2015 Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards, an international design competition which honors innovation and design excellence in Interior Design/Architecture throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Entries are now being accepted for the 3rd annual Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards. Winning projects will be chosen by a prestigious, international panel, including Annie Chu, IIDA, AIA, of CHU+GOODING Architects; Primo Orpilla, IIDA,of STUDIO O+A; and Joey N. Shimoda, FIIDA, FAIA, of Shimoda Design Group.

Projects must be located in the Asia Pacific region, however the design firm may be based outside of the region. Submitted project(s) must have been completed after Jan. 1, 2013. Deadline for submitting entries is Friday, Aug. 28, 2015.

Awards will be presented in 14 design categories:

  • Corporate Space Large (1,000 square meters and above)
  • Corporate Space Small (under 1,000 square meters)
  • Educational (elementary/secondary educational facilities, colleges/universities)
  • Entertainment (casinos, performing arts centers, sports arenas, theaters)
  • Healthcare (hospitals, outpatient clinics, medical facilities)
  • Hospitality (lounges, bars)
  • Hotels
  • Institutional (cultural, government/municipal spaces, libraries, religious spaces)
  • Residences (multifamily)
  • Residences (single family)
  • Restaurants
  • Retail (stores, boutiques)
  • Showrooms/Exhibition Spaces/Sales Centers
  • Spas/Fitness
All winning projects will be published on the IIDA website and recognized at a special awards reception in December 2015 at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong.
