FLOS Announces Appointment of New CEO of FLOS USA

FLOS, the world leading manufacturer of lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Schreur as the new CEO of its FLOS USA subsidiary. Jack will take over his new duties at the beginning of September, with all North American FLOS Group operations (FLOS USA and Lukas Lighting) reporting directly to him. He will succeed Jan Vingerhoets, whom Flos warmly thanks for his six years of service at FLOS USA, wishing him all the very best for his future career.

A deeply passionate, design-focused home and office products executive, Jack Schreur was born and raised in Michigan. Upon completing his studies, he worked in the non-profit world for eight years before deciding to make a significant career change. He found his way into the business in 1996 when he joined Herman Miller, a major American manufacturer of office furniture, equipment and home furnishings based in Michigan. Throughout his career, Jack has held multiple leadership positions over a distinct business unit as general manager. This has included creating new businesses, such as the Herman Miller Collection, as well as playing a key role in both the consumer and wood casegoods businesses.

Today, as the Vice President of Herman Miller Collection and Geiger (North Carolina), Jack Schreur leads a large and growing business. He is well-connected in the luxury design world and shares many designer relationships with FLOS. Jack has a deep knowledge of the direct-to-consumer business, having overseen the retail and digital channels for Herman Miller. In leading the Geiger business, and having been previously responsible for the Herman Miller Seating Business, he has broad knowledge of the contract side of the business.

FLOS CEO Piero Gandini said: “With his great talent and broad experience in building and developing businesses, Jack Schreur is the right leader to achieve our growth ambitions in the North American market and I look forward to his leadership at FLOS USA. Please join me in welcoming Jack to the FLOS Group and wishing him all the best in his new endeavor.“

Jack Schreur said: “I am humbled and delighted to join one of the world’s great design brands and innovation leaders. Flos is a wonderful company with a terrific history and an even brighter future — a future I am honored to be a part of.”
