Flexible Function: Versteel’s Zayn Blends Industrial Loft Beauty with Built-In Comfort

Newest seating option from Versteel: Zayn.

The Indiana-based furniture manufacturer teamed up with Chicago’s Qdesign to develop an exclusive concept for Versteel’s commercial customers.

Launched this year at NeoCon, Zayn sets itself apart with its intuitive design features that enhance the inherent need to move and shift postures while seated. Its cantilevered arm allows the user to shift from one side to the other – sitting with legs off to one side or comfortably crossed without interference from the arm. The plywood shell provides a slight flex between the seat and back, moving with the user as they sit back into the chair.

Inspired by the industrial loft aesthetic, Zayn combines clean lines and mixed materials with a curated palette to create a multi-functional seating offering. Embracing the warmth of wood with a wash of color expands beyond typical wood finishes, while still maintaining the natural qualities and beauty of the wood grain. This family of product provides a solution for any space – from the industrial loft to the maker space to the refined corporate interior.
