With a passion for design and architecture, Cesar Guevara is a designer/planner at MG West, a Haworth dealer in San Francisco, California. Cesar started using CET Designer about a year ago and uses it to design and plan spaces with Haworth furniture.
“What I like most about CET Designer is everything is in one software,” Cesar said. “I like that if I change between 2D and 3D, the bill of materials changes as well. CET Designer also offers many useful extensions like RevLink and SketchUp, making it easy for us to send and receive drawings.”
Cesar says switching to CET Designer offered a good challenge for his team. He said the biggest challenge was setting up MG West’s standards and matching drawing templates to the existing CAD.
Cesar’s best trick for CET Designer is dragging an object from one drawing to another when two CET Designer files are open. In the future, Cesar would like to use CET Designer with augmented and virtual reality programs to show his clients how new furniture would look in their space.
“CET Designer was embraced by our team and made a positive impact on the way we work,” Cesar said. “Learning CET Designer has been very rewarding and I’m glad our firm made the switch.”
