Falcon Introduces Kubo Line of Sound-Absorbing Cubes from Caruso Acoustic

Falcon, a leading manufacturer of table and seating solutions, expanded its portfolio of sound-absorbing products from Caruso Acoustic. Kubo, a new line of ceiling-mounted upholstered cubes, was featured at NeoCon East.

Kubo cubes are designed for spaces with very high ceilings. Applications include recreational facilities, sports arenas, restaurants, classrooms, corporate offices, conference halls, museums, hotels and airports.

Kubo’s ceiling fastening system makes it easy to install and configure cubes to meet the acoustical challenges of high-ceiling buildings. Kubo features thicker sound-absorbing materials than other Caruso Acoustic products, allowing greater absorption of low frequencies.

Kubo’s small size, 19.68” x 19.68” x 19.68,” means the cubes take up minimal space inside a room. The small size also filters light more effectively between the cubes. Kubo cubes are available in 22 colors, feature Oeko-Tex-certified finishing fabric and are completely customizable.

Kubo and other Caruso Acoustic products utilize a core sound-absorption material—melamine foam—which is the same material used in airplanes and trains to insulate sound. Because of the sound-absorption strength of each panel, Caruso Acoustic products absorb sound with fewer panels than competitive products.
