Product Description: Fahrenheit Recessed Downlighting is UL Listed specifically for insulated ceiling installations, allowing fixture installs to be in direct contact with such insulation. Further, Fahrenheit’s own non-combustible self-extinguishing interior insulation earns its models two-hour fire ratings as L500/P500 designs.
Fahrenheit’s especially dense internal insulation also dampens unwanted electrical or air-current noise.
Construction & Finishes: Fahrenheit housings are sturdy 20-gauge galvanized steel with a powder-coat finish. Housings are available in 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-inch versions that accommodate a broad range of baffle, ring and opal-glass trims. Light sources include: (00-Watt fill-in) LED; 13-, 18-, 26- and 32-Watt CFL; Line-Voltage Incandescent; Low-Voltage Halogen; and Line-Voltage Halogen GU10.
All Fahrenheit Recessed Downlights are UL Classified Fire-Rated for up to two hours; have an ASTM E413-10 Certified Sound Rating; are ASTM E283 Certified Air Tight; IC rated; UL Damp listed; cULus listed; ENERGY STAR qualified; Title 24 2013 compliant.
