ESD (Environmental Systems Design, Inc.), an international leader in the design of high-performance buildings, mission critical facilities, workplaces, and health, science and education environments, has promoted Keith Seier to chief operating officer and Chris Wilson to vice president, operations director.
Mr. Seier, who joined ESD in 2006, will be responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision to ensure ESD has the proper operational controls to grow the organization through its financial and information technology systems. He was also named an executive vice president by the firm. Mr. Seier has led ESD’s technical training programs and participated in company strategic planning.
Mr. Wilson, who joined ESD in 2011, is dedicated to providing sustainable design solutions that improve how buildings impact our society. In 2016, he became studio leader of the Energy+Eco team, where he helped expand service offerings such as monitoring-based commissioning, building envelope commissioning and energy analytics.
