Color is at the heart of Camira’s fabrics, and the global textile manufacturer continues to demonstrate this with the launch of an extended color palette for one of its polyester ranges.
Era is a subtle, two-tone fabric with a discreet herringbone weave offering an understated contemporary texture, while its coloring technique provides up-close intrigue and detail. The range has 24 new colorways, bringing the palette portfolio offering to 44.
Era’s color palette has been balanced with the addition of a number of in-between shades. It thoughtfully works in pairings to bring fresh combinations to meet the brighter end of the palette, with delicate tones available as alternatives. The versatile palette highlights different layers and depths of color, and the detail beneath each individual shade.
The intricate detail of the dobby weave is enhanced through the unique dyeing process. Using two types of dyestuffs – which dye the disperse and cationic parts of the polyester yarn – results in the fabric achieving two different hues of the same color, and in some cases two distinctly different colors. This allows considerably greater flexibility with color matching and selection.
Coinciding is the launch of its panel partner, Era 66, which features 13 harmonious colors in a wider width offering.
Concurrently, Camira is launching another new panel fabric called Carlow, whose 25 colorways coordinate brilliantly with Era and Era 66.
