Encore Adds Another Dimension to its Popular Faction Collection

Expanding upon the popular Faction executive and task collection, Encore introduces guest, nesting and swivel models to round-out this multifunctional seating family.
As their most recent collaboration with David Ritch and Mark Saffell of 5d Studio, who previously designed the Clipse, Fling and Visor series, this adds yet another dimension to the Faction offering and expands its versatility to suit a broader array of working and learning environments.
The intention was simple â to reinterpret the signature sculpted back and arm design of the executive chair to better suit the more compact frame inherent in guest and swivel seating, while at the same time providing additional space-saving capabilities to allow for more convenience and ï¬exibility. Stacking ability was top of mind for guest models, but the addition of a nesting chair to serve dual purposes truly realized that vision.
The curvilinear back, available fully upholstered with a sophisticated stitching detail or in durable polypropylene, provides ongoing support across all models, while a slim frame and purposeful selection of neutral and metallic ï¬nish options further adds to the collectionâs overall appeal.
Guest chairs are available with glides or casters and stack up to 4-high standing or 5 with a dolly, and feature a choice of metal cantilever or polypropylene loop arms in addition to an armless version. Arm ï¬nishes are offered in white, charcoal, black and soft grey hues to match polypropylene back colors, or in polished aluminum to seamlessly join together with chrome frames resulting in a clean, monochromatic look.
Nesting chairs are offered with cantilever arms or armless, feature ï¬ip-up seats to allow for endless nesting capabilities, and also stack neatly when not in use. Accompanying swivel models share the nesting chair arm offering and feature a no-fuss height-adjustable mechanism along with polished aluminum or black base options to suit aesthetic preferences.
