125-Person Pink Hard Hat Ribbon Creates Call to Action for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and EMCOR’s Signature “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” Campaign

The EMCOR Customer Solutions Center announced today that its employees, and more, donned EMCOR Pink Hard Hats and assembled to form a 125-person giant human Pink Hard Hat Ribbon in a “Call to Action” in support of breast cancer awareness as part of EMCOR’s “Protect Yourself. Get Screened Today.” campaign. The event took place at the EMCOR Customer Solutions Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

As part of the event a $13,500 check, the result of individual donations, contributions and employee and client fund raising initiatives, was presented to Banner Health Foundation & Banner MD Anderson Center by executives from the EMCOR Customer Solutions Center. Christopher Cordes, Corporate Relations Development Manager, Banner Health, accepted the check and participated in the event.

Michael Bordes, President & CEO, EMCOR Building Services, further commented and further explained:  “Thousands of EMCOR employees across the U.S. are wearing EMCOR Pink Hard Hats at scores of job sites, ranging from hospitals, malls, and high tech companies, to universities, and hotels.  Also, EMCOR’s 7,000+ service vehicles will carry Pink Hard Hat posters reaching millions of people throughout October.”
