Duravit’s Cape Cod collection by Philippe Starck has been honored with a Best of Year award for 2015 in the Bath Cabinetry category. This awards program, sponsored by Interior Design magazine, celebrates the best of the best in product and project design from the past year. Cape Cod was selected as a finalist by an online vote open to design fans and professionals, and was chosen as a winner by Interior Design staff members and a jury of design leaders.

Inspired by the relaxed elegance of New England, the Cape Cod series is the epitome of luxury. The strikingly unique vanities are the collection’s showpiece. One of four wood finish options (Vintage Oak, American Walnut, European Oak, or White Beech) makes up the counter and rests on a smooth, chrome frame that creates an eye-catching diagonal with the floor. The Vintage Oak finish is especially stunning — each piece of wood maintains a roughly hewn shape that resembles a piece of driftwood found on the beach, making each vanity one-of-a-kind. The vanity is also available in White High Gloss with the option of doors and side shelves for additional storage space.
The Cape Cod collection also includes mirrors with optional LED lighting, three uniquely shaped washbasins, and an elegant bathtub. Toilets from a variety of Duravit collections, especially the ME by Starck series, coordinate beautifully with this outstanding collection.
This is the second Best of Year win in a row for Duravit; the Vero furniture collection won in the same category in 2014.
