Now, for a sneak peek at one of Duravit’s Design Week launches: the Universal Console range. This new design system is built for simplifying and customizing the modern bathroom. Universal Consoles allow individuals with a vision in mind to design a highly personalized space by offering countless furniture combinations and variations. The consoles, available in regular and compact versions, can be combined with vanity units and furniture from seven of Duravit’s most popular ranges: Vero, L-Cube, Happy D.2, Delos, DuraStyle, Ketho, and X-Large.

The Universal Console System provides streamlined and classically designed furniture for a wide variety of Duravit collections
Duravit has further evolved its bathroom furniture collection with the Universal Console range, a new design system built for simplifying and customizing the modern bathroom. Duravit’s Universal Consoles allow individuals with a vision in mind to design a highly personalized space by offering countless furniture combinations and variations. The consoles, available in regular and compact versions, can be combined with vanity units and furniture from seven Duravit ranges: L-Cube, Vero, Happy D.2, Delos, DuraStyle, Ketho, and XLarge.
“The new Universal Console range offers something for everyone – with a diverse selection of sizes, finishes, and combinations, the series provides a widely appealing bathroom solution for differing lifestyles, preferences, and budgets,” explains Duravit USA President Tim Schroeder.
The consoles offer flexibility while maintaining Duravit’s unique design language. The pieces can be seamlessly incorporated into a bathroom as supports for washbasins and above-counter washbasins. Each console can be combined with Duravit vanity units in widths of 24 to 39 inches, and with one or two drawers. Series-specific features, such as the vertical handle in the Vero collection, maintain the distinctive design identities of individual Duravit furniture ranges.
Duravit’s Universal Consoles are available in 32 different finishes, offering countless design possibilities – from high-gloss finishes in Apricot Pearl or Stone Blue, to real wood veneers like oak and walnut. Duravit will offer the Universal Consoles in two different thicknesses, 1 1/8″ and 1 3/4″, and two depths, 18 7/8″ and 21 5/8″.
Duravit collections that are compatible with Universal Consoles include:
L-Cube: The L-Cube series embodies maximum elegance with minimal details, creating a collection of sleek, strikingly rectangular furniture. L-Cube focuses on simplicity, keeping a geometric design without being interrupted by unnecessary elements.
Vero: Duravit’s best-seller for over a decade, Vero defines a classic aesthetic. With chrome details and a sharp, distinctive look, Vero adds modernity to the bathroom.
Happy D.2: The Happy D.2 collection brings a delicate sophistication to the bath, with a rounded shape and visual elegance. Happy D.2 balances contrast with harmony, maintaining a seamless contour between the washbasin and furniture, while providing a range of dynamic finishes.
Delos: Chic, modern, smart. The Delos series by EOOS brings innovation and design to the forefront, with floating style furniture that elevates a minimalist bathroom.
DuraStyle: Designed by Matteo Thun & Partners, DuraStyle is deliberately discreet, fitting perfectly into practically any setting. Simple and functional, DuraStyle combines innovative storage solutions with a design-centric look.
Ketho: Designed by Christian Werner, Ketho is characterized by clear forms, intuitive functionality and comfortable quality. The signature, ergonomic handles featured throughout the range give Ketho true originality.
X-Large: Providing extra storage space and extra style, the X-Large furniture series is the perfect addition for any bathroom. Combining maximal storage with light forms and chic, aluminum handles, X-Large doesn’t compromise functionality for design.
