DIFFA Teams Up with Bloomingdale’s to Launch Holiday Tabletop Auction

12 Inspiring Tablescapes from the Country’s Top Designers & Bloomingdale’s Favorite Home Brands up for Bid to Benefit DIFFA

DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) has joined forces with Bloomingdale’s and the country’s best interior designers to create “Holiday By Design ” a Designer Holiday Table Installation and Auction. Starting November 18, twelve over the top tablescapes will be on display at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship and auctioned off on CharityBuzz to raise money and awareness for those living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS, as well as homelessness and drug addiction. The inspiring installations will be unveiled along with the reveal of Bloomingdale’s famous holiday windows and the launch of holiday activations and experiences as part of the retailer’s “Give Happy” holiday unveiling event.

From November 18 – December 12, the 4th floor of Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship will showcase the ultimate holiday tablescapes by superstar interior designers including Nate Berkus, David Rockwell, Jamie Drake, Karim Rashid, and Lizzie Tisch x LTD by Robert Verdito. Using products from top Bloomingdale’s home brands like Baccarat, Bernardaud, Juliska, L’Objet, Royal Copenhagen, Waterford, and Wedgwood, the 12 extraordinary installations can also be viewed online and will be up for bid on Charitybuzz with proceeds benefiting DIFFA. The auction closes on December 9, and the tables will remain on display until December 12.

Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) raises awareness and grants funds to organizations that provide treatment, direct care services, preventive education programs, and advocacy for individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS, as well as related challenges, including drug abuse and homelessness, which directly impact new HIV/AIDS infections.
