Designtex Appoints New President
Designtex is excited to announce that Kim Land has been named President effective March 4, 2024. As a skilled strategic thinker and collaborative leader with 20+ years of omnichannel general management experience, she has a passion for design and a customer experience focus, coupled with strong financial P&L stewardship and an entrepreneurial spirit.

As SVP Omnichannel DTC at Knoll, Kim led the Residential business to significant growth, launching ecommerce, flagship retail and digital, while expanding the design trade and wholesale channels. Her dynamic leadership instilled a consumer-centric mindset and process throughout the organization, leveraging insights and new digital tools, and building critical cross-functional support. Kim contributed corporate guidance through M&A due diligence, the IT Priority Steering Committee, and the Knoll Mentor Program.
Kim’s career began in marketing at Mondelez (was Kraft General Foods), and product innovation and marketing at Godiva Chocolatier, before evolving to general management, leading digital and direct to consumer businesses for Godiva, Stivectin, Knoll and Matouk. She holds an MBA with honors from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude in Psychology, from Duke University.
Kim Land will work closely with her predecessor, Susan Lyons, who has led the Designtex team as President for the past 12 years, to familiarize herself with the company’s historic achievements in innovation, technology and sustainability and help pave the way for the brand’s continued success.
