Designer & Architectural Associate Julia Tingle Joins the Team at //3877

Tingle’s Hire Marks the Latest Addition to the Expanding Architecture and Design Firm

Julia Tingle

Architecture and design firm //3877 is pleased to welcome Designer & Architectural Associate Julia Tingle to the multidisciplinary practice. Given her in-depth experience working hands-on at various stages of the design and construction process, Julia brings dynamic expertise, enthusiasm, and creativity to her new position with the firm.

“At //3877 we consistently challenge ourselves to continue learning, growing, and pushing the boundaries of traditional design––we have no doubt that Julia will be a great fit for the team as she is eager to explore every corner of the A&D industry,” says //3877 Partner David Shove-Brown. “Her creative perspective and positive attitude make her a valuable, welcome addition to our office.”

Julia found her passion for placemaking at an early age, citing her interest in the short- and long-term impacts of the built environment on the human experience. A graduate of University of Maryland College Park, Julia spent time as an architectural associate at CANVAS Architecture after earning her bachelor’s of science in architecture with a minor in construction project management. Refining her skills in photoshop, InDesign, and Revit LT, Julia assisted with all phases of the design and construction process, including the creation of permit sets and coordination with consultants and clients.

“I was immediately drawn to the culture at //3877, especially the effort they put towards highlighting and celebrating each team member’s unique contributions––I believe this makes a company’s culture and productivity much stronger,” says Julia. “I’m incredibly excited at the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of interior design and architecture on a larger scale while collaborating across teams and learning from my coworkers,” Julia says.

In her role at //3877, Julia works alongside her teams to bring interior design and architecture projects of varying scopes to fruition with hands-on involvement from start to finish. Her close attention to detail, interpersonal communication skills, and most of all, love for unique and thought-provoking design allows Julia to thrive in the firm’s collaborative environment.
