Presented in partnership with Champagne Pommery, the 18th Annual Champagne Chair Contest has come to an end and Design Within Reach is proud to announce the winners.
This year contest participants were challenged to create miniature chairs of either an iconic, recognizable design or an original creation using only the foil, label, cage, and cork from no more than two champagne bottles. The winners in each category were, selected by an esteemed group of Office Hours speakers. The panel of judges included ELLE Decor Editor in Chief Asad Syrkett, Architect Jacqueline Shaw, Architect Tei Carpenter, Apple Design Researcher Alyse Archer-CoiteÌ, and Graphic Designer Alex Lin.
