Rooted in Bauhaus principles, the patented tubular steel system arrives with complimentary design and specification support from sketch to installation.
Dauphin has officially launched Modul Space across the U.S. commercial market. Available in North America for the first time, the versatile modular collection features a framework that can be configured into storage, shelving, credenzas, room dividers, media units, lockers, mobile work tools, and other workplace elements. To support the rollout, Dauphin has established a dedicated Design Services team to provide architects, interior designers, and contract dealers with end-to-end specification and planning support.
“This launch responds directly to designers seeking furniture engineered to evolve alongside a workspace rather than being replaced,” said Ed Pedrick, President and CEO of Dauphin Americas. “Modul Space was engineered as an adaptable platform from day one. Instead of settling for imitation systems, U.S. specifiers can now access the authentic, precision-engineered original.”

Complimentary Design Services: From Concept to Completion
To simplify the planning of highly personalized configurations, Dauphinâs newly formed Design Services team, led by Director of Design Services Mandi Lawrence, partners with specifiers through every phase of a project:
-Turnkey Planning: Translating hand sketches or CAD floor plans into detailed, buildable product configurations.
-Visualizations: Providing 2D/3D technical drawings, finish schedules, and photo-realistic renderings.
-Order Coordination: Managing integrated hardware, material finishes, and global specifications through delivery and final on-site assembly.
This service is available at no charge to designers and dealers specifying Modul Space through Dauphinâs authorized network.
“Modul Space is designed for spaces that require personalized workplace solutions, and our team exists to remove the friction from that process,” said Mandi Lawrence. “Whether a designer approaches us with a preliminary napkin sketch or a detailed floor plan, we work with the design community to incorporate their vision and turn it into reality.”
Bauhaus Heritage and Modular Architecture
Modul Space originates from German manufacturer Bosse, a member of the Dauphin HumanDesignÂź Group. Inspired by mid-20th-century connector innovations pioneered by Danish designer Poul Cadovius, the system honors Bauhaus design: prioritizing structural clarity, geometric purity, and functional longevity over surface ornamentation.

Engineering and Finishes
Built on the spatial fundamentals of points, lines, and planes, Modul Space serves as both high-density storage and freestanding architectural space dividers. Key specifications include:
-Framework: Closed-system spherical connectors paired with precision tubular steel frames, finished in polished chrome or matte black powder coat.
-Components: Full-extension, soft-close drawers with integrated stop damping, alongside drop-down flaps, hinged doors, and open display niches.
-Material Palette: Architectural-grade melamines, matte and high-gloss lacquers, natural wood veneers, clear glass, and acoustic/colored film-backed glass.
Modul Space is available now across North America through Dauphinâs sales partner network.
