Cumberland Furniture Introduces Lloyd Collection

Expanding the Lloyd Barstool into a Complete Seating and Table System

Since 1956, Cumberland Furniture has built its reputation on designing and building modern American furniture meant to last. That same philosophy carries forward with the introduction of the Lloyd Collection, a new family of seating and tables designed by Travis Clifton.

The collection expands on the success of the original Lloyd Barstool, evolving a one idea into a complete system that brings lounge seating, guest seating, stools, and occasional tables into a unified expression.

Lloyd is built around a singular focus: continuity. Curves carry through each piece, from sculpted backs to bullnose table edges, creating a collection that reads as connected rather than assembled. The line includes lounge chairs, guest chairs, counter and bar stools, and a range of occasional tables offered in multiple sizes and material options.

ā€œIt’s a study in fluid forms, curves, circles, and a continuous line that never quite ends. Lloyd reflects how I see movement and form in the world,ā€ said Travis Clifton.

The collection expands on Cumberland’s approach to long-term performance in commercial interiors. Stainless steel bases are used throughout for durability and recyclability. Table surfaces include wood, stone, solid surface, and back-painted glass, allowing designers to scale material expression while maintaining a consistent form language.

The Lloyd Collection is available now through Cumberland’s national network of independent representatives, with full specification details, renderings, and material options released alongside the launch.
