Crane Heads Client Services for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Buildings Group in SF
Raymond Crane has been appointed vice president of client services in the San Francisco buildings sector office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Mr. Crane will be responsible for maintaining client relationships for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s buildings practice in the Bay Area and throughout Northern California. Some of the firm’s recent projects in the region include Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the Salesforce Tower and Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, and several projects related to recent improvements in Terminals 1 and 3 at San Francisco International Airport.
A structural engineer, Mr. Crane has close to 40 years professional experience in the U.S. and abroad. He has worked on major building projects around the world with experience ranging from ultra-high-rise buildings to institutional, cultural, and housing. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was director of architecture & engineering services for KEO International Consultants based in Kuwait, responsible for all architectural and engineering production of the 150-person office. He previously managed the Abu Dhabi office of an international engineering organization and also served as chairman of the firm’s U.S. operations.

Mr. Crane received a B.Eng degree from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Institution of Civil Engineers, and Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He is a registered professional engineer (PE) and registered structural engineer (RSE).
