Architectural Lighting Without Limits: Introducing the Lalina Family by Coronet

New Field-Curvable and Cuttable Systems Seamlessly Adapt to Coves and Perimeters

Coronet, a leader in architectural lighting solutions, is proud to unveil the Lalina family, a pair of field-curvable and cuttable lighting systems that debuted in March at LEDucation in New York, NY. Designed to meet the demands of complex, intricate spaces, Lalina Cove and Lalina Perimeter provide architects, designers, and lighting consultants with unmatched flexibility and precision.

The Lalina family was developed in direct response to a common challenge faced by lighting designers and architects: the limitations of rigid, prefabricated lighting systems that fail to adapt to site conditions, often falling short—or long—when it comes to precision.

“Our goal is to equip architects and designers with the tools they need to bring their visions to life,” says JR Krauza, Vice President of Product at Coronet. “After hearing from our partners in the field about the difficulties in specifying products that perfectly fit coves and walls, we recognized the need for a new solution—one that could be easily adapted, cut, and curved on-site. This ensures a perfect fit every time, ultimately streamlining both the design and installation processes.”

Both Lalina Cove and Lalina Perimeter feature a mud-in installation system, ensuring a clean, integrated appearance with no visible hardware. While the two products share many features, they are optimized for specific applications. Lalina Cove is designed for ceiling illuminations, providing soft, indirect light that enhances spatial aesthetics. Coronet’s proprietary Wide Asymmetric Optic can be specified for maximum horizontal light projection. Lalina Perimeter, by contrast, is tailored for wall applications, delivering seamless ambient lighting for a refined atmosphere.

Lalina Perimeter features a wall-facing precision-engineered optic.

With the Lalina family, the sky—or, more precisely, a 9-inch internal radius—is the limit. These adaptable systems can be customized in length, light output, and color temperature, making them ideal for various architectural environments—from office spaces to hospitality and retail settings.

Designed in New York and manufactured at Coronet’s factory in Totowa, NJ, the patent-pending Lalina family is BABA and BAA compliant. A CarbonNeutral® certified company, Coronet produces the Lalina family using aluminum extrusions made from 85% recycled content.

The Lalina family is now available for specification, with additional resources including installation guides and detailed product information available at www.coronetled.com.
