Configura’s CET Designer User of the Month, Amanda Adams, uses the space-planning software in her role as a design strategy specialist at Office Creations based in Georgia.
Transitioning to CET Designer has been a huge step in improving workflow for Amanda and her coworkers, as the software allows for more innovative process solutions.
“CET Designer has indeed changed the way we manage our day-to-day work and also brought on a much-needed change in process for our dealership. Our designers not only are now able to specify more accurately, but also, we’re able to see our results before we get deep into the process. This allows us to identify design issues and minimize installation complications,” Amanda says.
Her favorite CET Designer tool is Photo Lab, used to create photorealistic renderings.
“We love helping our customers’ see their spaces come to life with Photo Lab,” Amanda says.
She also appreciates the ease of applying discounting within the software to do quick budget pricing.
A 2001 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design, Amanda began her career with a Herman Miller dealership and instantly developed a love for furniture.
Solving customers’ problems is one of the many reasons Amanda loves design – in fact, it’s one of the reasons she became an interior designer in the first place.
“I’m fascinated by making a client’s space work for them, including using design choices to improve productivity and increase wellbeing,” Amanda says.
When she isn’t designing spaces with CET Designer, Amanda spends time with her husband and their pets, plays video games and paints table-top miniatures.
