Configura Hosts Manufacturers and Partners at Annual Momentum Meeting
Configura held its meeting for North American manufacturers and partners on March 28 at DeVos Place convention center in Grand Rapids, MI, USA. Each spring, Configura hosts a day-long Momentum conference, (previously known as Partner Meeting) where attendees innovate, collaborate and set direction for the year to come.

Just over 70 people including manufacturers from the commercial interiors and material handling industries, Configura Development and Service partners and several Configurans met to discuss and learn how to better support the User Community.
“This year’s event felt much more responsive,” said Kaylie Tucker, a Configura Service Partner and owner of Konvergent Solutions. “It felt like everyone was able to get a lot of feelings off their chest and have constructive dialogue back and forth to help move things forward.”
A welcome session, followed by a business process and product update set the stage for the day. In the business update, Stefan Persson clarified the building blocks of Configura, including Purpose, PGC, Technology, Product, Design, Culture and Strategy, which guides the company’s work and people. Breakout sessions ranged from a rundown of the developer experience to a deep dive into the Commercial Interiors Libraries (CIL). The day ended with a discussion around Configura’s vision for quality.
New this year, Pace Checks will be offered virtually on a quarterly basis to ensure continued collaboration and provide ample opportunity for Configura, manufacturers and partners to prioritize product updates, standardization goals and more. An additional in-person Momentum meeting for Configura’s European partners and manufacturers is scheduled for April 18 in Sweden.
