Chemetal Presents Moving to Mood, New Designs that Explore the Historical Significance of Metals

Chemetal presents Moving to Mood, new darker materials with layered metal undertones. These are semiotic designs that imply the deeply rooted, civilization building metals of the Bronze, Pewter and Brass Ages. They originate from a predominantly neutral color palette and offer the depth and sublime reflectivity found only in metal. Darker hues predominate, with underlying oxidations that include iridescence.

Moving to Mood embodies the idea of the absence of pattern in Chemetal’s design materials.

While pattern cannot be completely negated- there is some repetition in these new materials- emphasis is on full sheet moods, whether it is printed or hand created designs. Chemetal produces many metal designs in-house, creating effects by hand and machine. Every sheet is like a work of art, created with a manufacturing consistency.

Moving to Mood is available in standard sheet sizes. More at Chemetal.com
