To round up this year’s Plastic Free July, we’re bringing a couple of quick reads to you.
Find out how we help to prevent disposable plastic products being sent to landfills, as well as rescuing them from our oceans, by taking a look at the articles below…
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE
We caught up with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE’s Director of Textiles, Mark Hartnell, to learn more about how this unique collaborative community is working to combat plastic pollution.
With Oceanic, our very first fabric to contain Upcycled Marine Plastic by SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, launching earlier this year, the work carried out by the team is something we’re extremely passionate about – and you can learn all about it in this insightful Q&A with Mark.
RECYCLED POLYESTERS
Our commitment to creating beautiful fabrics, without damaging the world around us, stretches all the way back to 1997 when we were part of Interface Inc. as Interface Fabrics.
This article explores the developments that have taken place over the last two decades, from the launch of our first 100% recycled polyester, Lucia, in 1999 to the development of X2, our first fabric to include closed loop waste, right up to the debut of Oceanic earlier this year.
