Camira Inspires Fresh Wonder and New Insights with 2019/2020 Trend Report, ‘Why not…’

Global textile designer and manufacturer Camira is launching its Trend Report for 2019/2020, providing fresh insight into the colors, textures and aesthetics the company’s product designers predict will hold sway in the coming year.

Building on the disruptive ethos of last year’s Revolution Trend Report, Camira’s new edition is entitled Why not… Its aim is to prod, stimulate, and inspire architects and designers of commercial interiors.

Why not… encourages readers to question everything and to find the courage to explore new ideas, act on instinct, and push through any barriers to creativity and exploration.

Examining four key themes – each prefixed by the report’s title – readers are invited to Challenge, Be Brave, Have Fun, and Be One. The report is illustrated with exquisite photography from Parabella Studios. Each trend is unpacked through a sequence of stories reflecting the colors, textures, and refined combination palettes which can be used to create striking interiors perfectly in sync with the mood of the moment. Showcasing textiles designed and manufactured by Camira, the report covers a range of polyester, wool, and bast fiber fabrics.

The annual report, the fourth in an ongoing series, represents the best thinking and prognostication of Camira’s Product Development team, along with insight from external trend consultants. Through its first three editions, the Trend Report has established a growing reputation as a wellspring of knowledge, insight, and expertise for architects, designers, and specifiers in the contract interiors industry.

In that vein, by providing inspiring fabric combinations, palette choices, and tonal harmonies, Why not… seeks to stimulate rather than dictate, giving readers the tools to fashion their own unique approaches and distinctive concepts. The report is available at no cost upon request at this page on the Camira website: https://www.camirafabrics.com/na/trends
