BKSK Architects: The Beginning of the Ende Era
BKSK is entering into a new era of interior design, through the practiced eye of Gerry Ende, our new Director of Interior Design.
Gerry [gair-ee] joined the BKSK team in 2011, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience from other top NYC design firms. His portfolio features a wide breadth of inspired design across project types, scales, and styles. Gerry creates sophisticated interiors that reflect the individuality of our clients’ needs. His design vision is in perfect accord with BKSK’s overall approach, in which our knowledge of tradition and history informs an architecture of today.
Under Gerry’s leadership, BKSK’s Interior Design department is expanding and flourishing. His team brings a collective knowledge of materials and strong technical skills that allows them to work seamlessly within larger project teams, while carefully curating furniture and finish selections tailored to each project.
Across projects ranging from multi-family development to high-end residential to modern corporate interiors to retail facilities, the team infuses their designs with a sense of craft and sustainability, delivering creative and environmentally sensitive solutions that evolve from an intimate working relationship with the client, artists, craftsman and vendors. Research informs design, providing clients with spaces that support a sense of place while nurturing a collective appreciation for cutting-edge design solutions.
