A Modern Favorite Goes Mini
Heller launches Swell Mini, fun-size and gift-ready
Heller, the industry leader in modern design and the only fully regenerative, microplastic-free outdoor furniture brand, is excited to present Swell Mini, a miniaturized version of Anna Dawson’s celebrated Swell Wall Catchall and the first of Heller’s accessories produced entirely with Worry Free Plastics technology. Capturing the same sculptural joy and rhythmic nature of the original, its wave-inspired curves blend fun with practicality, cradling everything from keys to jackets while doubling as a charming piece of wall art. Compact, sustainable and endlessly versatile, Swell Mini takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary—proving that modern design can bring delight to the day-to-day at any scale.
Like the original, Swell Mini includes an easy-to-install mounting system and can be placed solo or grouped together in creative color combinations. Both clever in design and in application, Swell Mini can live both indoors and out, made possible with its 100% recycled and durable ABS plastic composition blended with Worry Free Plastics technology. It may be small in stature, but this unique ingredient makes it mighty in materiality, making Swell Mini not only 100% recyclable, but 100% regenerative and microplastic free at end of life. Swell Mini’s retail price is $30 and is available in Yellow, Blue, Cream, and Orange.
About Heller
Heller began in 1971 and from the outset has been known for the true meaning of modern. Their timeless, functional designs are created without ego by some of the world’s greatest architects and designers—Frank Gehry, Massimo & Lella Vignelli, and Mario Bellini to name a few. Heller products have claimed international recognition with design awards from the Compasso d’Oro to NeoCon and are featured in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Rochester Institute of Technology. Made in America, suited for indoors and outdoors, Heller can be found in homes, restaurants, museums and offices around the world. In 2025, Heller partnered with Worry Free Plastics, continuing their exploration of new technologies to create more innovative, sustainable and transparent manufacturing processes. This technology transforms their already recyclable products into a fully regenerative material, completely free of microplastics at end-of-life. As a proud member of Be Original Americas, Heller continues to champion original design and became the first company to work with the Digby Design Authenticator, guaranteeing authenticity of their designs and sustainability for the future. www.hellerfurniture.com
About Anna Dawson
Anna Dawson translates her passion for surfing and an architectural upbringing into functional design pieces that capture the harmony between humans and their environment. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with roots in Sausalito, California, she gained recognition when her Swell Wall Catchall prototype was discovered at NYCxDesign in 2022 and subsequently produced by Heller. Swell quickly became a fan favorite in Heller’s portfolio, and in 2025 Heller expanded the collection with the debut of the Swell Mini, a pint-size version of the original with the same spirit of whimsy and function that Swell is known for. Anna’s design approach balances thoughtful functionality with organic forms inspired by water’s movement, resulting in pieces that feel both innovative and intuitively familiar. Anna’s work embodies her philosophy that great design should create the same sensation of effortless connection that comes from successfully riding a wave.
