BIFMA is pleased to announce Andrew Kotman has joined the association as the Membership Services Director. Andrew brings 19 years of experience in customer service, sales, and management, 14 of those years working in the commercial furniture industry.
“I have always enjoyed client interaction. Having worked in the industry for most of my career, joining BIFMA is a natural progression to serving the industry with a broader reach.” says Kotman.
Prior to joining BIFMA, Andrew held positions as Account Executive for Interphase Interiors, Associate Product Manager at Haworth, and Account Executive overseeing business development for Michigan Office Environments. His in depth understanding of the process from product launch to installation and experience working with both dealer and manufacturer organizations provides a unique perspective of industry challenges, strategies, and networks.

In this role he will collaborate with the BIFMA leadership team to grow membership, increase member engagement, and advance member benefits. As a member liaison, Andrew’s understanding of both the importance of meeting organizational objectives and customer goals will enhance member programming.
Andrew holds a MBA from Grand Valley State University and a BBA from Calvin College. He is married with three children and lives in Grand Rapids, MI.
