BIFMA Announces Election of New Member to Board of Directors

Terry Cassaday, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ergoCentric Inc, was elected to the BIFMA Board of Directors at the January meeting.

ergoCentric Inc. was established in 1990 has manufacturing plants in Mississauga, Ontario and St. Louis, Missouri. Terry has been instrumental in designing the company’s extensive line of ergonomic seating systems and to date has over 20 patents and patents-pending. He is a member of the technical committee that drafted CSA Z412-17, Office Ergonomics – an application standard for workplace ergonomics. Terry holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Ontario.

BIFMA President & CEO, Deirdre Jimenez AIA NCIDQ, welcomed the election of Cassaday to the board. “Terry will bring both a US and Canadian perspective to the association as we embark on growing our membership in both countries. ergoCentric has been active in the association, devoting talent and expertise in the development of a new ANSI/BIFMA Ergonomic standard currently in development.”
