Axo Light USA “Raises the Curtain” on SKIRT — A Family of Airy, Dramatic Lights Inspired by Fashion
Axo Light, the Venice, Italy manufacturer of original architectural- and decorative-design interior luminaires, announces availability of SKIRT pendant, ceiling- and wall-mount, table and floor lights.
Product Introduction: SKIRT — a striking family of brightly colored, drum-shaped pendants, ceiling and floor lamp designs. A rectangular pendant and half-rectangular shape wall light are also available.

Product Applications: Each model in the SKIRT family produces direct downward as well as diffused ambient/accent interior lighting suited to a broad range of upscale commercial, institutional or hospitality interiors. These include distinctive executive and professional office building entryways, lobbies; offices; exquisite dining areas and other hospitality venues; museums, art galleries, theaters, large reception areas; upscale retail stores, boutiques, people spaces and the like.
Product Description: Reminiscent of curtains, tutus and, of course, skirts. Models are composed of a single pleated layer or two overlapping layers — an interior color echoed by black netting.
SKIRT Pendant: Four single-shade models range from 19.7- to 59-inches in diameter by 16.5- to 31.5-inches high; and suspend from 133.875- to 145.625-inches. Two double-shade models have lower shades that range from 27.5- to 39.375-inches in diameter, with upper shades from 39.375- to 59-inches in diameter, by 39.375- to 48.875-inches high; and suspend from 153.5- to 165.375-inches. A single-shade rectangular model is 55.125-inches long by 20.125-inches wide by 20.875-inches high and suspends 133.875-inches.
SKIRT Ceiling: Three single-shade models range from 27.5- to 59-inches in diameter by 24.25- by 31.875-inches high. Two double-shade models have lower shades that range from 27.5- to 39.375-inches in diameter, with upper shades from 39.375- to 59-inches in diameter, and are from 39.375- to 48.875-inches high.
SKIRT Floor: Shade is 27.5-inches in diameter by 20.875-inches high. It stands 70.875-inches high.
SKIRT Table: Shade is 19.625-inches in diameter by 16.5-inches high. It stands 29.5-inches high.
SKIRT Wall: Two models; one 5.5-inches wide by 18.5-inches high and 5.5-inches deep; the other 11-inches wide by 18.5-inches high by 5.5-inches deep.
Construction & Finishes: Luminaires in the SKIRT Family are comprised of white painted metal frames; shades are made of layers of TREVIRAâ CS fireproof fabric, available in a simple version with a single layer in Blue, Light Blue, Dark Brown, Fuchsia, Orange, Pale Green, Pale Grey, Red or Neutral White. A double version combines the same individual fabrics with an optional outer black net.
A range of light sources are available depending on model choice: E26 incandescent; E26 compact fluorescent; GU24 LED; triple-tube GX24q-4 CLF; and G53 Halogen. Luminaire model and size determine the number of lamps and wattages required.
