The New York Metro Chapter of ASID Announces “Best in Show” Award Winners at the Architectural Digest Design Show

The New York Chapter of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) announces the winners of the “Best in Show” Awards at the Architectural Digest Design Show. Fourteen distinguished brands were chosen for their creativity, innovation and sustainability from both an installation and products perspective. With over 400 brands in a range of categories, narrowing down the field was no easy feat.

After careful consideration, the esteemed jury, which consisted of ASID New York Metro designers including James Rixner, Audrey Kerchner, Susan Anthony, Diana Mosher, Phyllis Harbinger, Jackie Higgins, and Miriam Makram, selected the following from the FURNISH and REFRESH areas of the show:

  • Best in Show – Floor: New Growth Designs
  • Best in Show – Wall Treatment: Benjamin Moore
  • Best in Show – Plumbing: Rohl
  • Best in Show –Furniture: Sossego
  • Best in Show – Lighting: Hubbardton Forge
  • Best in Show – Overall Design: JennAir
  • Most Innovative Appliance: Blomberg Dryer
  • Most Innovative Material: BASWA acoustic North America
  • Most Innovative Product: JM Lifestyles

The jury also made several selections from the MADE section of independent artisans and makers. These include:

  • Best in Show – Sustainable Design: David Stine Furniture
  • Best in Show – Lighting: Luke Lamp Co
  • Best in Show – Adaptive Reuse: Counter Culture
  • Best in Show – Overall Design: Bones Studio
  • Best in Show – Most Innovative Product: Facture Studio
